Product Manager

Responsibility

  • Understand and lead analyses of the competitive environment, customers and product metrics to determine the right set of features to drive engagement and usage on Impresso

  • Based extensive experience in user product, Lead team to achieve innovative products or core functions from 0 to 1.

  • Professional data analysis capabilities, and have the experience of data products, through data to meet user needs scenarios;

  • Drive product requirements definition, product planning and product design (including writing PRDs) of new features and enhancements

  • Work cross-functionally and with the Product Development team to bring features live to the App. 

  • Clearly communicate product benefits to our users and internal stakeholders

Basic Qualification

  • BS degree in a technology-related field

  • Experience building App products with a demonstrated ability to drive product planning, development and launch

  • Strong understanding of the most recent trends around consumer App usage including experience with social media

  • Knowledge of the Internet, emerging web technologies and community building 

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with and understand technical subjects and emerging technologies and their relevance to the marketplace 

  • Ability to manage and lead across highly cross-functional teams

Web Content & User Experience Manager 

Responsibility

  • Execute specific web content and experience management roadmap items and related projects; communicate status.

  • Manage customer acceptance testing and weekly deploys to Staging and Prod environments in close collaboration with Engineering partners

  • Work with internal and external partners on requirements definition, planning, design, and testing of owned new features and enhancements.

  • Document and communicate web platforms use cases, features, enhancements, and requirements.

  • Provide guidance and support to marketing partners and platform users.

  • Troubleshooting and communication related to content and experience platforms.

  • Gain user feedback and help translate into further platform or process improvements.

  • Lead and manage web platforms projects, coordinate execution, and communicate project status.

  • Manage specific web platforms processes and capabilities, i.e. localization.

Editorial Communications Consultant

Responsibility

  • Execute proactive media programs and initiatives to build broader awareness of Impresso's Influencer and member content offerings as well as Impresso's consumer and brand initiatives. 

  • Create proactive/reactive content, including messaging, blog posts and Q&As for announcements, partnerships, events and profiles.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with and provide expert counsel to internal clients and external partners on communications.

  • Leverage existing and build relationships and work with journalists on behalf of Impresso.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with editorial, global integrated marketing and communications, product PR and marketing, partnerships and social media. 

Basic Qualification

  • 6 or more years of related PR or external communications experience.

  • BS/BA in Broadcast Journalism, Communications, PR, English or related field.

  • Well-developed and maintained media relationships and a solid understanding of editorial and consumer communications for a technology company.

  • Strong research and analytical skills, including the ability to monitor and analyze industry news and trends.

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills with lens for technical tone and style.

  • Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail and an innate ability to stay on top of multiple projects at once.

Software Engineer

Responsibility

  • Designs, develops, and maintains the enterprise search platform components and Web API’s for Search, APIs, Analytics and other enterprise products of SSE team.

  • Improve code quality via rigor in functional and performance testing, performing code and design reviews, and overall raising the bar.

  • Collaborates in developing testable user stories and innovative designs

  • Takes ownership in solving or recommending solutions for complex problems

  • Positively fosters team approach to software development and delivery

Basic Qualification

Software Engineer - AI Infrastructure

Responsibility

  • Build a scalable data ingestion platform that ingests and integrates massive amount of data about members, jobs, companies, schools and other organizations from different sources (e.g. licensed vendors, government agencies) to make Impresso's knowledge graph more complete, accurate, and reliable.

  • Develop state-of-the-art techniques in tackling the most challenging problems in data ingestion to ensure high quality data, such as entity resolution, data fusion, and member feedback, to name a few.

  • Build recommender products and crowdsourcing tools that directly impact and fuel Impresso's Search, Ad Targeting, Job Recommendation, and many other key products.

Basic Qualification

  • B.S. in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or related practical experience.

  • Experience building distributed, Internet-scale systems.

  • Relevant programming experience

Senior Software Engineer - Big Data Engineering

Responsibility

  • Contribute to the Big data design and data preparation by implementing a solid, robust, extensible design that supports key business flows.

  • Performing all of the necessary data transformations to populate data into a Big data environment that is optimized for reporting.

  • Establishing efficient design and programming patterns for engineers as well as for non-technical peoples.

  • Designing, integrating and documenting technical components for seamless data extraction and analysis on big data platform.

  • Ensuring best practices that can be adopted in Big Data stack and share across teams and Business Units.

  • Providing operational excellence through root cause analysis and continuous improvement for Big Data technologies and processes and contributes back to open source community.

  • Contributing to innovations and data insights that fuel Impresso's vision and mission.

Basic Qualification

  • BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent practical experience

  • Working experience with Hadoop projects/infrastructure

Application Developer

Responsibility

  • Maintain highest levels of development practices including: technical design, solution development, systems configuration, test documentation/execution, issue identification and resolution, writing clean, modular, scalable, self-sustaining code and adherence to technical compliance standards.

  • Responsible for designing and developing RICE components in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 application in compliance with internal coding standards.

  • Provide support to managers in development of new strategies for improving internal processes, and implementing optimal solutions through the use of technology and Oracle tool sets.

  • Partner with internal teams to define and implement solutions that improve internal business processes.

Basic Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Business Information Systems or Computer Science)

  • 6+ years of experience in implementation, development, process re-engineering and support of Oracle EBS suite.

  • Must have experience in Oracle R12 EBS specifically in Record-To-Report track with modules General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management (CE) and Projects (PA)

Senior Staff Software Engineer - Data Science

Responsibility

  • Provide architectural guidance and mentorship to up-level the engineering organization

  • Actively improve the level of craftsmanship at Impresso by developing best practices and defining best strategies 

  • Design products/services/tools and code that can be used by others while upholding operational impact of all decisions

  • Identify problems and opportunities and lead teams to architect, design, implement and operationalize systems

  • Work closely with and influence product and/or technology partners regularly to help define roadmap

  • Resolve conflicts between teams within the organization to get alignment and build team culture

  • Review others’ work and share knowledge

Basic Qualification

  • BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience

  • 5+ years’ experience in software design, development, and algorithm related solutions with at least 2 years of experience in an architect or leadership position

Responsibility

  • Develop partner strategy and evaluate potential partners who can help further Impresso'’s efforts to develop the world’s largest and most efficient talent marketplace

  • Support deal execution, drive implementation of integration(s) and manage partner relationships once deal is signed

  • Develop processes and systems to manage Impresso’s partner ecosystem in an efficient and scalable manner

  • Monitor the ongoing usage of Impresso's partner programs to ensure partners are creating value for members and customers and in a manner consistent with Impresso’s vision, mission and strategy
